This is a book to pick up and look up at any time, simply it’s a biography of more than 70 heritage trees.  It’s a fascinating glimpse of history that’s all around us, but only if only we look. Excellently researched, well presented, great photos, information where to see each tree entry (even if you can only look over a wall at it in a field!) and so many, and that’s only in Wales.
