BLUE has recently launched a unique range of sauces, believed to be the only blueberry based range of sauces in the world.
There is something in the range of 10 varieties for everyone; from a wickedly rich and indulgent BLUE Chocolate Sauce, fabulous with pancakes, ice cream or even porridge, to a BLUE Thunder Dressing, originally created as a salad dressing – but with endless versatility that can make almost anyone feel like a gourmet cook.
What makes BLUE different is that at everything is produced with fruit from the farm, all hand-picked and grown without the use of insecticides. The produce includes: apples, pears, gooseberries, plus the chilies, herbs and spices that go into the savoury sauces. Then there are the 12,000 blueberry bushes that give the company its name. Since starting to plant the bushes in 2006, the farm has seen a huge increase in wildlife – something that they’re very proud of. This is all a part of their huge commitment to building a food business underpinned by very strong environmental principles.
