We’re all looking at ways to cut down on our energy costs this winter. We’ve been marvelling at Green Dragon –Farm Grown Fuel.
Made from 100% British rapeseed husk, this is what remains of rapeseed after the oil has been pressed out. Nothing is added and nothing is taken away, 100% of the seed is used, leaving no waste. It is a completely natural, constantly renewable and a much greener alternative to wood, coal and other solid fuels. It burns 3 x longer than the average log and with amazing bright orange flickering flames. The briquettes are easy and clean to handle, produces 2 x the amount of heat of some natural wood and leaves 
behind only 7% ash.
Green Dragon is suitable as a solid fuel for boilers, stoves, wood burners and open fires.
The briquettes are used like logs; in fact they are the size of logs, but clean, dry and consistent. They burn for at least an hour with a flame, and then glow for two more. Unlike many logs Green Dragon has not gone through an expensive or carbon-heavy production process - it’s not artificially dried in a kiln, it’s naturally sun-dried making Green Dragon environmentally friendly, sustainable and 100% British.
Green Dragon is grown and made in Nottinghamshire by a pioneering team of local farmers.
