It’s with this in mind that he has created a new range of products based on Italian flavours, and it’s no great secret that Jamie has drawn great inspiration from the regions of Italy,this shines through in this NEW Jme range - created specifically for independent speciality food retailers, but also available here;
I set out to make some uncomplicated pizzas.
I made the ‘tomato sauce’ as described, but using olive oil infused with basil, and also adding a little ‘sundried tomato paste’ to the sauce. I topped off the pizza with dolcelatti, ‘mixed olives in chilli’ and torn basil leaves, really good! It’s absolutely true - quality ingredients produce good food.

olive paste - Taggiasca olives from the lush coastal valleys of Liguria
Mixed olives in chilli extra virgin olive oil with garlic and black pepper
