Ed's Blog

It's really very simple - don't buy the newspapers that violate our privacy.

Newspapers are not printed to be respectful of peoples' privacy, never have been. It's their business to report everything and anything they see fit to increase their circulation sales, in order to sell advertising. If we believe that a person has a right to privacy, the only way to make publishers take notice is to boycot them.

Getting close to our first big event!

It's getting very close to the Burghley Horse Trials now less than 2 weeks away. this is Mygreenlifestyle's first real  event and the start of many we hope. Come and chat to us in the Green Lifestyle Pavilion - love to see you.

Spike, The Lonely Hedgehog

Well while we were away things have happened, Vera had some babes. One of which has taken up residence ('Spike'- we like to keep things simple), sadly Vera has moved on. Spikes siblings moved next door but were evicted by the neighbours when their dog took great exception to their presence! So the fate of Vera and Spike's siblings is a mystery to us. I guess this is why the hedgehog is now considered to be a vulnerable species!

Aloe Vera

We have had an addition to our family, a large hedgehog who we have named Vera, (Aloe Vera). When we first saw her we said hello, then Vera just got tagged on. We obviously don't know if she is a she, but we think she may be with babes, she's very large. The thing is - she isn't keeping hedgehog time, she didn't come home until 10am and she's just gone out again at 3pm - and she keeps leaving the garden and heading towards the road!!

The Olympic Torch comes to Rutland

Here it comes - arriving in Langham, Rutland 14.18 bang on time. What a great atmosphere, as we said to our little dog Lily, " you'll never get another chance to see this again in your lifetime"!
