Natures Bounty

Just finished off the last of the carrots and parsnips in a lovely batch soup, Christmas cake in the oven and just about to start on some Apple & Ginger Jelly. Apples picked up off the ground in the local sheep field - thanks Mr Farmer!

Love this quircky site,an exciting range of unique homewares all hand-made to order in the UK. Each item is made using eco-friendly materials and traditional manufacturing techniques wherever possible – check it out: www.dupenny.com.

I've just tried a can of Scheckter's Organic Energy Drink - really refreshing! Toby Scheckter, son of Jody Scheckter of Formula One/Laverstoke Park fame, has just launched a new natural, organic, FairTrade and fruit-fuelled energy drink aimed at busy people, who care about their health. Definitely worth a try!

Where are the English Apples?

I can't believe that Aldi are selling apples from South Africa, New Zealand, Spain and  France! Our orchards are bursting with apples this time of the year - it's madness!
